head of investor relations and business development

We are a fast-growing, tech-focused hedge fund with a great track record and a unique product. We conduct in-depth, on the ground research on our businesses and their competitors, build relationships with our management teams, and have access to an extensive network of technologists.

We believe that we are at an inflection point: the confluence of several general-purpose technologies will result in world-changing innovations over the next 10-20 years, and we plan on capitalizing on them.

Together, we have the opportunity to build a world-class asset management firm for the 21st century.

We are seeking a leader to help us scale, with a path to becoming a partner.

Characteristics of the ideal candidate:

  • Be entrepreneurial: no job is too small, no challenge is too big

  • Have relentless curiosity, a passion for solving problems, and great work ethic

  • Help us launch new products! The investment landscape is fast-moving and we need to serve our customers in new ways

  • A track record raising capital for hedge funds or similar vehicles would be a big plus (but not a requirement)

  • Be disciplined in prospecting, building referral lists, adding to our pipeline, and closing new clients

  • Be able to learn quickly: we are a tech-first company and you will need to use tools like Twitter, Zoom, Slack, MailChimp, HubSpot, Zapier, Wix and others

  • Have a structured, systematic and disciplined approach to sales and marketing, taking advantage of our brand and awareness funnel

  • Be able to learn, understand and stay up-to-date on our investment strategy and philosophy as well as the nuances of the investments we own

  • Eventually help build a team with you as the team leader

  • Educating our existing investors on our existing funds and new products, helping with documentation and onboarding of new clients

  • Relationships among family offices, endowments and pension founds would be a big plus

  • Very importantly, be a self-starter and draw the owl

 

You will be working directly with the founder of Heller House in a stimulating, fast-paced, always growing and always learning environment. This journey will be fun!

Compensation will be competitive and negotiable.

 

Work can be fully remote but based in the US. Eventually we might decide to centralize the team in Miami, FL.
